GTC Vorro is studying methods for adding redundancy to the sulfur recovery units at refineries in the United States and Canada. We can adopt our passive SweetTreat™ technology as an economic alternative to building a completely new Tail Gas Treater unit or other backup system that must remain on hot-standby to provide continuous backup. SweetTreat™ is a much lower cost option to provide redundancy in certain applications.
