GTC Vorro Technology (GTC Vorro), a leading process technology licensor for refining and petrochemical industries and sulfur removal solutions provider to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Dr. Yao-Jyh Robert Huang as president of Asia Operations. In this role, Dr. Huang will spearhead strategic initiatives to expand GTC Vorro’s market presence for licensing and sulfur removal solutions, establish supply chain partnerships, and drive revenue growth in Asia.

Dr. Huang brings more than 38 years of experience integrating technologies and production processes for large-scale projects in the refining, petrochemical and natural gas sectors. He has managed projects across North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and multiple provinces within China. He has held leadership roles as chairman across several sectors of the Xianglu Dragon Group in China, including petrochemicals and chemical fibers.

Dr. Huang holds a doctorate in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in solid-state science and technology from Syracuse University, along with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from National Taiwan University.
