GTC Vorro Technology (GTC Vorro), a turnkey provider of environmental services and process technologies to oil and gas, refining and petrochemical companies, has debuted its new calculator for generating the amount of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) mass.
Available exclusively on GTC Vorro’s website, the new calculator makes it easy to quickly and efficiently generate the number of pounds or kilograms of hydrogen sulfide present in any gas stream. The free tool also automatically calculates the equivalent annual SO2 that would be emitted from flaring that gas untreated. The SO2 calculation is important for ESG compliance and determining emissions reduction impact.

Developed with the engineer in mind, GTC Vorro’s new calculator provides an accurate reference point for how much H2S is present in any given situation. This leads to the next step of calculating an all-encompassing cost to remove the H2S per pound.
