GTC Vorro Technology’s original core business provided H2S removal via placement of solid scavengers associated with natural gas production and providing H2S options to address redundant sulfur plant capacity in refineries. We have incorporated additional technology offerings to cover higher sulfur loadings and a broader range of the market.
Our additional offerings include:
- Liquid chelate REDOX and amine systems – economical removal of H2S from higher concentration streams
- Direct oxidation of H2S to sulfur – lowest cost method for sulfur removal in the range of 0.5 ton/day to 20 ton/day from qualified streams
New process applications also involve utilizing scavenger systems to remove all H2S in refinery systems to avail of improved heat recovery in the process furnaces. Redesign of the configurations within the Tail Gas Treatment (TGT) units use direct oxidation of H2S to sulfur in lieu of complicated recovery and recycle schemes.
