GTC Vorro Technology is an industry leader in sulfur removal technology and equipment. We are currently seeking an I&E Construction Supervisor. Works with both the Operations and Technical (Engineering) Team to supervise new buildouts of equipment and instrumentation. This role will report directly to the Operations Manager, but works with the technical team to install and troubleshoot various types of measurement equipment in the field. The person fulfilling this role will also assist in data gathering and normal day-to-day operations as needed.
Job Requirements
- Must have safety-first mindset
- Experience with oil field construction
- Experience supervising 3rd Party Contractors with oil field construction
- Ability to read GA drawings and P&ID’s
- Experience with I&E to include SCADA programming, flowmeters, H2S analyzers, and O2 analyzers among other items
- Be able to work independently and unsupervised
- Frequent driving and traveling
- Primary work location is in the Permian Basin. Willing to travel to other regions if needed.
- Good driving record
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good situational awareness
Job duties
- Maintain a Safe and Clean working environment
- Manage installation of new equipment for gas processing
- Manage installation of new equipment for I&E (H2S analyzers, O2 analyzers, flowmeters, chemical pumps, etc.)
- Maintain equipment currently in the field
- Act as crew lead and representative for GTC Vorro on location
- Assist Operations team with data gathering or other operations as needed.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with treating H2S with various technologies (scavengers, catalyst, amine or other)
- Safeland 2021 or Basin United Certification
- H2S Awareness Training
